Open-air Narrow-gauge Railway Museum at the Forest Railway Station presents exhibits of old narrow-gauge railway infrastructure, i.e., a steam engine with carriages (Photo 1), tenders (integral components of a steam engine used to transport water and wood, from 1918–1920), coal and sand wagons, and a platform, as well as sets of platform wagons for timber transport, of German-type manufactured in 1952, and of Polish-type of 1948 (Photos 2 and 3). The open-air museum is an excellent place for classes, both for the youngest visitors about forest narrow-gauge railway, and for youth about history of industrial use of railway in Białowieża Forest, replaced by tourist and education functions in 1990s.
