The trail runs along forest roads through the nature reserves: “Podcerkwa”, “Berezowo”, “Olszanka Myśliszcze”, and “Michnówka”. These reserves protect habitats of butterflies and Zygaenidae moths. The trail ends in the forest settlement Topiło where the final stop of the narrow-gauge railway and water ponds, used in the past to float wood, are located, as well as an interesting place for a rest in a wooden shelter. An educational trail “Leśne Osobliwości” (Forest Curiosities) has been established around water reservoirs at the settlement.
